Three numbers that decide the right fit
The most common reason an accessory disappoints is a mismatch in fit, not a fault in the product. Before you add anything to your setup, confirm these three numbers against your gear — they determine whether a product works on day one or needs a return.
Handlebar diameter
Most bells, grips, and mirrors fit 22.2 mm handlebars — the standard on mountain, road, BMX, and folding bikes. Kids bells extend to 31.8 mm, and mirrors adjust up to 25 mm. A quick measurement across the bar where the accessory mounts settles the question before you buy.
Blade length
Skate soakers fit most blades up to 12 inches, covering youth and adult figure and hockey skates. Measure from the heel of the blade to the toe with a tape measure along the edge, then compare against the listing.
Camera model
