Speed Gate Series
Speed Gate
Speed gates pair a barrier-free open lane with servo drive and tempered glass panels, delivering the fastest cycle in the pedestrian turnstile gates family. They move 40 to 60 people per minute through 650 to 900 mm lanes, with card, face and QR readers for premium lobbies and transit concourses.
Overview
Fast, glass-fronted pedestrian lanes
A speed gate keeps the passage visually open. The glass wings stay retracted while the lane is idle, so the entrance reads as an open, premium space, then close quickly to admit one authorized person per credential. A servo or brushless motor opens the lane in 0.3 to 0.6 seconds, which keeps queues short in the busiest lobbies and transit points.
Tempered glass panels give the gate its transparent, high-end look, while an infrared anti-tailgating sensor array verifies that only one person passes per authorization. Readers mount on the glass or housing and support card, face recognition and QR credentials. Because the control board and protocols are shared with the rest of the pedestrian turnstile gates family, a speed gate lane can sit alongside swing gates and flap barriers in the same project.
Speed gates are built for indoor, premium installations and are also available with IP54-rated housings for covered outdoor concourses. For the wider family, see the product lines overview.

Applications
Where speed gates are specified
Speed gates suit entrances where appearance and flow rate both matter. These are the most common installation sites.
Corporate HQ lobbies
Reception areas in headquarters use speed gates to move staff and visitors quickly while keeping a clean, open architectural line.
Airports
Terminal zones and airline staff entrances rely on fast-cycle gates with face or QR readers to handle dense, steady flow.
Metro stations
Paid-area entry points in metro and rail stations pair speed gates with fare readers to process peak-hour crowds.
Banks & premium retail
Banks, showrooms and premium retail stores use glass speed gates to separate public and staff areas without a heavy visual barrier.
OEM / ODM Customization
Speed gates tailored to the entrance
Customization covers lane width, glass height, stainless steel finish, reader mounting position and control logic. Under our OEM/ODM program we also apply your branding, housing color and controller configuration before production. Walk through the process on the OEM / ODM page or start with a drawing via contact.
| Lane & glass | Custom lane width and glass panel height |
|---|---|
| Finishes | Brushed, mirror or powder-coated stainless steel |
| Branding | OEM logo, housing color and labeling |
| Reader config | Card, face or QR; position per lane |
| Control logic | Open/close timing, fail mode, one-way or two-way |
| MOQ | Project-based; confirmed per specification |
Procurement Process
From specification to export-ready delivery
Every speed gate order follows the same five-stage process so lane width, glass height and reader position are confirmed before production starts.
Specification and RFQ
Share your drawings, quantities and site conditions. We confirm lane width, open time and reader type.
Drawing review
Our engineers review the layout, confirm tempered glass and stainless steel finishes, and set the servo open/close timing.
Production and burn-in
Units are assembled under ISO9001 control and every lane is cycled to check the sensor array and wing motion.
Final inspection
Final inspection covers function, finish and packaging readiness before the batch is cleared for export.
Export packaging and delivery
Units ship in foam-protected export crates by sea or air, with installation guidance and remote technical support.
